Union Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan launches Mission Samriddh Gaon
The mission builds an integrated model for poverty-free, employment-rich and fully serviced villages. Pilot models will be developed in Budhni block of Sehore and Khategaon block of Dewas in Madhya Pradesh, then replicated nationwide. Every family will be linked to central and state schemes based on need and eligibility, converging agriculture, livelihoods, basic services, food processing and employment.

Mission concept note: the household prosperity pathway
The concept note sets out the mission's three outcome dimensions — Garibi Mukt, Rozgar Yukt, Buniyadi Suvidha Sahit — and the planning chain VPRP + VGPP → GPDP → Lakhpati household, with a full indicator register derivable from existing MIS.
