About the Mission

Connecting the dots

India's rural programme architecture is not short of intent, instruments or money. DAY-NRLM builds the institutions of the poor. VB-G RAM G builds productive assets. RSETI and Grameen Kaushal build skills. NSAP, PMAY-G and the basic services suite establish the floor of dignity. Each programme is complete on its own terms — but no single programme is answerable for whether a particular household crossed from subsistence to prosperity. Mission Samriddh Gaon connects the dots.

One planning chain

VPRP + VGPP → GPDP → Lakhpati Household
1

Household livelihood plan

Every SHG household is profiled on income, endowments, chosen activities and the gaps to ₹1 lakh — carried in the Digital Aajeevika Register as a live record, not an annual survey.

2

Productive asset plan (VGPP)

VB-G RAM G is read not as a wage programme but as an asset-creation programme with a wage guarantee — water security, land treatment, orchards, sheds, ponds and nutri-gardens.

3

Converged GPDP

The Gram Sabha approves one plan carrying household demand, common productive infrastructure and departmental schemes together, with a digital tracking layer visible to citizens.

4

Lakhpati pathway

Each household plan is matched to a farm or non-farm portfolio, assets under VGPP, credit through CIF, bank linkage, Mudra, PMEGP or PMFME, skills through RSETI, and a buyer through a producer institution. Income is then tracked, not assumed.

What "Lakhpati" means here

Following the Ministry's Lakhpati Didi definition: an SHG member whose annual household income is ₹1,00,000 or more, averaging ₹10,000 or more a month, sustained for at least four agricultural seasons and/or business cycles. In this mission, "Lakhpati" means sustained income — not a single good year.
